California composer Elizabeth C. Axford is an award-winning songwriter and pianist with over 27 years in the industry. Her music can be heard in the films The Chosen One (starring Rob Schneider, Steve Buscemi, and Holland Taylor), Sol LeWitt: Wall Drawings, and The Sacred Bee. Her music has been heard during multiple episodes of The Today Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Last Call with Carson Daly, Saturday Night Live, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Days of Our Lives, Poker After Dark, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Swift Justice with Nancy Grace, and Sit and Be Fit. She has received three ASCAPLUS Awards.

Elizabeth C. Axford has a Master of Arts degree in music from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Illinois. During her 27 years of teaching studio piano and voice, she has done hundreds of arrangements for piano and keyboards as well as composed original piano pieces, instrumentals, and songs. She is the author of two critically acclaimed music reference books, Traditional World Music Influences in Contemporary Solo Piano Literature and Song Sheets to Software - A Guide to Print Music, Software, Instructional Media, and Web Sites for Musicians Book/CD-ROM.

Elizabeth's music has been included in TV commercials, corporate videos, artists' CDs and DVDs, websites, video games, greeting cards, gift bags, and musical theatre productions. Her music has been performed or licensed for use at the Stjärnbandet Festival, The Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education, The Lang Company, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The National Trust, Theatre on Main, and more. She is an active member of many professional music organizations including NSAI, ASCAP, NARAS (voting member), CMA (voting member), TI:ME, MTNA, and MTAC.
